Cancellation Policy

Plans change — we get it. This policy explains how to cancel or reschedule a repair or installation appointment with Brooklyn's Superior Appliance Repair, and any fees that may apply.

1. Scheduling Your Appointment

When you book a service or installation, we reserve a dedicated time window and a certified technician just for you. Because that slot is held for your job, we ask that you let us know as early as possible if your plans change.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule any appointment at no charge by giving us at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled window. We'll gladly find a new time that works for you.

3. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments where no one is available to provide access at the scheduled time, may be subject to a service/trip fee to cover the reserved time and travel.

  • Please ensure an adult (18+) is present for the full appointment window.
  • Make sure the appliance is accessible and the area is clear for our technician.
  • If we can't reach you or gain access on arrival, it may be treated as a no-show.

4. Diagnostic & Trip Fees

If a technician has already been dispatched or has arrived at your location when a cancellation occurs, a trip or diagnostic fee may apply. Any applicable diagnostic fee is typically credited toward the cost of the repair if you proceed with the service.

5. Special-Order Parts & Deposits

Some repairs require special-order or manufacturer-specific parts, which may require a deposit. Once a special-order part has been ordered on your behalf, that deposit may be non-refundable, as the part is purchased specifically for your appliance.

6. Refunds

Completed repairs are backed by our 90-day parts & labor warranty. If you have a concern about completed work, contact us and we'll make it right. Refunds for unused services or deposits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Same-Day & Emergency Appointments

Same-day and emergency slots are limited and in high demand. If you need to cancel one, please call us as soon as possible so we can offer that time to another customer who needs urgent help.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the latest revision.
